Capsule Summary
Etudes 1, 2 and 6 are taken from Michele Campanella’s recording. Etude 10 is mostly played by Kazune Shimizu but switches to Vladimir Ovchinikov for the last part. The remaining Etudes are composites drawn from the recordings by Nelson Goerner, Boris Berezovsky, Vladimir Ovchinikov, Michele Campanella, and Evgeny Kissin, with two to four of these pianists being used for each Etude. Etude 5 is unidentified.
