The Sonata Op. 26 is divided among Alfredo Perl, Jenő Jandó, Dénes Várjon, and Ian Hobson. The first, fourth movements, and nearly all of the third movement of the Sonata, Op. 27 No. 1 are by Dezső Ránki, as is the entire Sonata, Op. 28. The second movement of Op. 27 No. 1 and the opening 14 seconds of the third movement are by Ian Hobson.

Perl plays the opening theme (0:00–1:26). Jandó then plays Variation 1 (1:26–2:34). Várjon plays Variation 2. Jandó returns to play the “A” section of Variations 3. Perl takes over at the “B” section and then continues until the end of the movement.
