Capsule Summary
The Rachmaninoff transcriptions and Polka de V.R. are all taken from Alexander Ghindin’s Harmonia Mundi recording, even appearing in the same order. Tracks 3 and 6 are slightly sped up on later Hatto pressings. The Etudes-Tableaux, Op. 33 derive from multiple pianists: Ian Hobson (Nos. 1, 4–6), Leif Ove Andsnes (Nos. 2–3, 8), and an unidentified pianist for No. 7. No tempo manipulation was detected in the other tracks.
