CD Covers
Capsule Summary
There are two different versions of this CD. On both, the Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor is identical to Horacio
Gutierrez’s Telarc recording and the Rhapsody in E-flat major Op. 119 No. 4 matches Dezső Ránki’s
Quintana recording. The two Rhapsodies Op. 79 Nos. 1 and 2 are different on each release. Neither version has been
identified. There is also a slight reordering of the tracks where the Rhapsody Op. 119 No. 4 precedes the Op. 79 Rhapsodies on one
release but follows them on the other release.
No tempo manipulation was detected on any tracks.
Thanks to Mark Ettinger for identifying the Ránki source.
