Seventeen of the 24 Preludes, Op. 28 have been identified. Of these, 13 are played by Gabriel Tacchino, while Livia Rév, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Juana Zayas, and İdil Biret each play a single prelude. The Prelude, Op. 45 is played by Irina Zaritskaya, the Prelude in A-flat major, Op. posth. is by Garrick Ohlsson, and the Berceuse, Op. 57 is by Livia Rév. In the Variations brillantes, Op. 12, the opening nine seconds are played by Katia Skanavi, after which Abdel Rahman El Bacha takes over for the remainder.
